In the spirit of the season, this week I will be unveiling my choices for the top-5 Christmas movies of all-time.

The Muppets are an institution–a favorite part of my childhood. So take the august British actor Michael Caine, combine him with those quirky Jim Henson creations, then mix the two with the most enduring tale of Christmas, Dickens’ immortal classic A Christmas Carol, and you have one of the great Christmas movies ever made: The Muppet Christmas Carol.
